Bio Over the last several months, I have completed online training through AHIT, as well as their in person weekend seminar to become a home inspector in Tennessee. I have a background in home renovation/construction, as I have flipped and maintained rental properties with my father for the last several years. Becoming a jack of all trades, but master of none, I was able to fairly quickly pick up the specific points of knowledge that I lacked, and passed the NHIE in February of 2025. I received my license in early March, and am hoping to become a HITA member so that I can network and hopefully find someone to allow me to perform some inspections as ride-a-longs or a sort of apprenticeship for a time before really risking my neck and striking out on my own.
