Radon Testing Practices

Many Home inspectors are now offering Radon Testing as an additional service to their clients.  This course is offered to give Home Inspectors the knowledge and tools needed to accurately determine the radon levels in a home at the time of inspection, and how to relay this information to the client for further action.

This 4 hour course is designed to help Home Inspectors understand;

  1. What Radon is.
  2. Where Radon comes from.
  3. Who is qualified to test for Radon
  4. How to properly test for Radon.
  5. What equipment can be used for testing.
  6. What actions need to be taken by the homeowner.
  7. Acceptable and Unacceptable Radon Mitigation practices.
